GREG'S HAT
MATEREALS:
Yarn: Two skeins of Harmony 100% pure New Zealand wool, color 804 dark gray. Two strands of wool are used at the same time for double the thickness.
Needles: US size 9/16 inch circular, scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape, and stitch marker
Gauge: 4 stitches and 5 rows = 1 inch in stockinet stitch
ABBREVIATIONS:
K= knit
P=purl
K2tog=knit two stitches together knit wise
CO=cast on
BO=bind off
DIRRECTIONS:
Using two strands of yarn with US 9 circular needles CO 72 stitches loosely. Making sure stitches are not twisted, place marker and join round. K2, p2 around for 5 rounds.
On round 6 begin knitting every row in stockinet stitch. Knit for a total of 8 inches or 40 rows.
Start crown decrease:
Row 1: k2tog, k1 repeat around to marker
Row 2: k to marker
Row3: k2tog, k1 repeat around to marker
Row 4: k to marker.
Cut yarn with a 8 inch tail, thread tapestry needle and bring through all stitches. Pull and bring tail inside hat. Weave in all the tails.

I TOUCH CASE
MATERIALS:
Yarn: Used in this Project is Crystal Palace Yarn, Aran, Color 1027, 100% wool, 102yards/50gr skein.
Needles: Us size 7, one cable needle, tapestry needle, elastic thread, two ¾” shell button or other desired.
Gauge: 4 stitches and 6 rows = I inch in stocking stitch. Knit a swatch to check gauge and adjust accordingly.
ABREVIATIONS:
k = knit
p = purl
st = stitches
CO = cast on
BO = bins off
C2b = cable 2 stitches to back
C2f = cable 2 stitches to front
PATTERNS:
Moss Stitch:
Row 1: k1, p1
Row 2: p1, k1
Cable Pattern:
Row 1: p1, k1, p2, k4, p2, k8, p2, k4, p2, (p1, k1) for moss edge (this will be the front of pattern).
Row 2: k1, p1, k2, p4, k2, p8, k2, p4, k3, p1.
Row 3: p1, k1, p2, C2b, k2, k2 on cable, p2, C2b, k2, k2 on cable, C2f, k2, k2 on cable, p2, p1, k1.
Row 4: Repeat row 2
DIRRECTIONS:
CO 28 st. Work in moss st for 3 rows starting with k1.
Repeat cable pattern for 40 rows (10 times).
Last 3 rows in moss st starting with p1 in front.
BO and leave 10 inches of tail to sew up sides,
FINISHING:
Fold in half evenly. With tapestry needle and a loose end Stitch bottom and side at inner edge of moss st. Sew button on corner of opening. Weave in loose ends. Stitch elastic around opening starting at button. Give a little tug so that it closes but can accommodate the I Phone/Touch. Tie off the ends, cut, and hide tails between the buttons. Enjoy!

PAYTON'S HAT
MATERALS:
Yarn: Crystal Palace Puffin, 100% polyester fleece, one skein of color A = Baby Blues and one skein Color B = Bambino Dots.
Needles: US 8 double pointed needles. Scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: 4 stitches and 5 rows = 1 inch in stocking stitch. Knit a swatch to check gauge and adjust accordingly.
ABBREVIATIONS:
K= knit
P=purl
K2tog=knit two stitches together knit wise

DIRRECTION:
With color A, Cast on 64 stitches. Place marker, join. Make sure not to twist yarn.
Round 1-5: knit
Round 6: purl to marker, switch to color B

Round 7- 12: knit
Round 13: Purl to marker, switch to color A.
Start crown decrease: Round 1: * knit 6, k2tog…* repeat around
Round 2: and all even rounds k around.
Round 3: *k 5, k2tog…* repeat around.
Round 5: *k 4, k2tog…* repeat around.
Round 7: *k 3, k2tog…* repeat around.
Round 9: *k 2, K2tog…* repeat around.
Round 10: *k, K2tog…* repeat around.
Continue until 8 stitches are left. Work the eight stitches for one inch.
Cut yarn with a 4 inch tail, thread tapestry needle and bring through all stitches. Pull and bring tail inside hat. Weave in all the tails.
