My name is Kathy Williams but I have been called Cookie all my life. I was always interested in knitting, cooking, crafting, sports and so much more. I am married 31 years, was a RN working in the OR for 36 years. My six children are my claim to fame all of which are very cool in their own right.
I became active in knitting when my daughter fell into the dot com fatality list in San Francisco. She and her friends were substantial enough to not work and pick up a hobby which was knitting. She needed yarn and I had a resale license so I purchased the yarn for the group. However I had heaps of yarn left over and asked My daughter what to do with it? She stated “EBay”. That was 11 years ago.
I retired from nursing, moved on from EBay to my own website, www.knittingnest.com, and here I am.
